3 BUSINESSES: CARPENTRY WORKSHOP, GARAGE, ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
3 aims:​
- Help finance the school to keep schoolfees low.
- Give concrete example to trainees of daily work and client relationship.
- Have professionnals available to answer any question.
1 goal:
Develop a business for each course we teach: we have made it for mechanics, carpentry and electrical, and we will for hotel management and tayloring.
GARAGE
We created the garage when we started the VTC. The VTC was opened in February 2014, the garage in July 2014.

Two mechanics from Same handle the place, supported by young mechanics.
They are Bruno and Peter. We mainly repair cars and trucks from the diocese. We aim at exanding our customer base.

Since July 2017, the garage hosts more cars and has been through several changes: we have constructed a roof to protect them from the sun and the rain, we have rebuilt stronger walls, and we have created a way in and out through the VTC so that cars first pass by the secretary before entering the garage.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION
We have started proposing this service early 2018.
Same is located along the road linking Dar Es Salaam, Arusha and Nairobi. The village keeps growing in terms of businesses and people. Indeed, Many people leave their homeplace in the montains to go work in Same. More people mean more housing, and more housings mean more electrical installations.
CARPENTRY WORKSHOP
We have developped this business in July 2017. We are lucky to own good-quality machines from Italy, that few carpentry workshops have. We were given by a doner.
